Job Title: Family Support Worker
Pay: Scale 6: £30,559 - £32,654 per annum.
37hrs per week
Office base: Hybrid working across county

The Role:
Children's Services are building on the positive outcomes achieved through multi-disciplinary working with children, young people, and their families. The new Social Care Reforms recognize that families benefit from multi-disciplinary evidence-based interventions that are well coordinated with evidenced-based outcomes. Preventative work is at the earliest opportunity that will support families to manage the challenges they face positively and get the help and support they need to prevent escalation to vulnerability and risk and into child protection and care.
Whilst we are developing our Family Help model, this new role will join our Early Help Family support teams, enabling you to experience working with families at level 3 need ( Multi-agency levels of need guidance). In this role, you will work alongside colleagues delivering direct interventions and support to families.
Disclosure Barring Service (DBS)
This post is exempt under the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 and as such, appointment will be conditional upon the receipt of a satisfactory response to a check of criminal records via the Disclosure and Barring Service before the appointment is confirmed.
