Job summary
University Hospitals Dorset Foundation Trust is currently seeking to appoint 4 x Junior Clinical Fellow, (ST 1-2). Two will be allocated to the trauma rota and two to the orthogeriatric rota.
Applicants are invited to apply for the post of Trust Junior Clinical Fellow which is offered on a permanent basis. The successful candidates must have GMC recognised Medical degree and at least 1 year experience of house jobs in Trauma & Orthopaedics or Medicine/Medicine for the Elderly.
In order to deliver this level of service applicants should have proven experience of on calls and ward cover.
Main duties of the job
The applicant should be able to work flexibly and to act on own initiative and to support junior staff members.

Person Specification
Experience
* Minimum 1 year of house jobs and prior Orthopaedic or Medicine/Medicine for the Elderly experience
* Completed clinical attachment in trauma and orthopaedics for at least 2 months.
* Minimum 4 months of NHS experience.
* Evidence of involvement in audit & research projects
Motivation
* Commitment to continuing postgraduate education and training
* Motivated to work in a team
Qualifications
* Basic MB BS or equivalent
* Full GMC Registration
* Current certification in ALS
