EVERYTHING YOU NEED TO KNOW
We are seeking a Mechanical & Electrical Manager to lead our team in providing front-line services through commercial contracts, primarily with the MOD, across England. You will manage a dispersed team of mechanics, electricians, and ICA technicians, ensuring the delivery of safe water and wastewater services.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead and develop a team to exceed business targets and demonstrate strong leadership behaviours.
* Ensure the health, safety, and wellbeing of your team, fostering a proactive safety culture.
* Deliver and manage an M&E strategy, ensuring compliance with H&S and statutory requirements.
* Build and maintain strong relationships with customers and external stakeholders.
* Use data to drive operational KPIs and continuous improvement while partnering with contracted partners and other teams to achieve optimal outcomes.
* Identify and pursue business growth opportunities with existing and new customers with the support of our sales team.
* Lead on quoting of services for growth works.
* Control OPEX and lifecycle budgets for planned and reactive M&E services.
WHAT YOU’LL BRING TO THE ROLE
Strong interpersonal, negotiating, influencing, and leadership skills are essential. You should have the ability to inspire, lead, and develop a team, demonstrating strong team player qualities. A strong drive and passion for continuous improvement are crucial, along with the ability to quickly learn technical processes to a level required for high-level decision-making. Demonstrable commercial and financial acumen is also necessary.

Due to the nature of our work, all successful candidates will be subject to full security vetting, including a DBS check.
This role will be home-based but with an expectation to work from our head office at times in Coventry to collaborate with key stakeholders. You will be leading teams covering the majority of England; as such wider travel will be involved.
