If so, we’d love to hear from you We are seeking a Team Manager (Investigations) to lead and inspire our investigations team within the Debt Recovery and Prosecutions Unit (DRPU). This is an exciting opportunity to shape the future of our investigative processes and deliver consistent, fair, and impactful outcomes. You’ll be based in our Bradford office, where your presence will make a real impact. As a visible and valued team member, you'll collaborate with colleagues and immerse yourself in the heart of our work environment. What you’ll be doing: Lead and manage a team of investigators, fostering a positive and engaged team culture. Drive innovation by implementing new investigative practices, including AI, to streamline processes. Ensure investigations are conducted with fairness, proportionality, and customer focus. Manage people effectively, including absence management, rostering, and performance reviews. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of legislation governing criminal investigations and ensure compliance with GDPR and other regulations. Produce and analyse periodic statistical reports to meet or exceed KPIs. Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, including legal teams, British Transport Police, and third-party providers. Develop and deliver training to enhance the team’s skills and competencies. Support fraud detection, staff investigations, and the commercialisation of the investigation service. Uphold relevant legal frameworks, including the Fraud Act, Railway Byelaws, and other regulations. About you: Here’s what we’d love for you to bring to the table: A degree in IT, Investigations, or a similar field (or equivalent experience). NVQ Level 3 in Management Skills or equivalent management experience. Strong background in PACE, court processes, and fraud detection. Proven experience in managing and motivating teams, with excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Demonstrated ability to manage high-volume cases and prioritise competing demands. A solid understanding of conflict management and organisational skills. A commitment to ethical practices, integrity, and confidentiality.
