You will be assisting the Edge Of Care Services Manager by providing reflective supervision to staff, advising on roles and practices, contributing to audits, action plans, and communication, preparing for supervision, deputising at meetings, and covering rotas. Additionally, support staff meetings, undertake development tasks, ensure quality assurance, and provide constructive feedback. All tasks should align with departmental policy and include management oversight of court reports and on-call duties as required.

Edge of Care Services is a team which provides support to children and young people who are at risk of entering the care system, or are experiencing crisis within their homes which could lead to them being taken into the care of the Local Authority. The team is made up of Adolescent Support workers, a Therapist, a Senior Practitioner, a Business Support Officer and a Team Manager, which brings a range of experience and expertise whilst also working with partner agencies, communities, young people, children and their families.
