The Harry James Group is working in partnership with a globally recognised, smart technologies company who is currently expanding due to market demand. We are looking for a Quality Engineer to be based on a BESS site.
Site Quality Engineer Work Services include, but are not limited to, the following:
1. Planning of coming quality control measures based on the existing schedule; QC Engineer shall define in advance.
2. Which general Work Method apply for each work task (For example Civil Works Installation Instruction, Electrical installation instruction).
3. Define which quality control measure apply on each task and define description of each test (Applicable standard etc.) and acceptance criteria as well as requirements about test documentation. Communicate these to client and subcontractors in advance.
4. Define which Material or Raw material Certificates shall be presented for each work task. (If Applicable).
5. Prepare necessary quality control method statements, Work procedure, Test procedure, if necessary.
6. Plan and agree the required ITP/QCP from subcontractor and ensure the same is approved by the company and Customer and quality control points are managed.
7. Maintain non-conformity record and manage the non-conformity list in SQAD (Company quality documentation system) and close by properly communicating with respect to stakeholders.
8. Maintaining records of Tools and Measuring equipment (Calibration certificates, acceptance & test certificates) (of The company and Subcontractors).
9. Maintaining Incoming Material Control. (Material & raw material Certificates, test records, traceability as required per the international standards.)
10. Perform Open box inspection and make transportation claim for damages observed.
11. Control of quality control roles, i.e. maintaining information concerning foreseen quality control events and reporting these to subcontractors & Client (Coordinating customer witness points and document and close the observations during witness).
12. Archive Quality Control Documents and test results in SQAD.
13. Update the Site Quality plan (SQP) as per the Site schedule and work packages, with the help of SQAD team.
14. Add the related reference documents (Method statements, Procedures) in SQAD quality record.
15. Ensure the SQAD record completion as per the site progress and report the SQAD progress.
16. Contact SQAD team for getting access to SQAD when new Site engineer joins.
17. Report and Distribute Quality control Measures and Quality control Documents internally and to the client through DCM (Company documentation management system). Follow-up and ensure the Quality records are accepted by Customer in SQAD (as per SQP) and completed.
18. (I.E. Both, Applicable QC measures on future tasks and results of completed tests)
19. Creating Site Quality Management plan based on Project quality management plan and ensure the quality management at site as per ISO9001 requirements.
20. Manage the site audit by Customer and Internal company audit team and ensure the audit findings are properly closed.
21. Perform audit at site Subcontractor regularly to ensure the subcontractor is following the process.
