Job Overview
Britvic's Procurement Team is responsible for sourcing all goods and services the business needs to operate. Our vision is to unlock our full potential and be recognized for our excellence in Procurement. Our mission is to deliver supply solutions that advance Britvic's sustainability, competitiveness, and growth. In recent years, Britvic has made significant investments in its supply operations, spending more than £400m on new manufacturing lines, equipment, and sustainability solutions.
This role, within the Procurement Supply Chain Team, will lead a £25m spend portfolio including embedding the MRO category strategy with strategic OEMs suppliers and a recently implemented non-OEM consolidator, ensuring both preventive and reactive maintenance processes are optimized. In addition to MRO, this role will also manage site consumables essential to the running of our site operations such as bulk gases, chemicals, and laboratory supplies.

Your Key Responsibilities
* Development and management of category strategies, including the embedding of non-OEM consolidator
* Supplier negotiation, including development of contracts
* Delivery of benefits including cost avoidance, cost savings, and process improvement
* Development and implementation of an SRM program with MRO consolidator supplier and strategic OEM suppliers
* Manage complex set of stakeholders, being the ambassador for Procurement
* Act as a point of escalation for resolving supplier performance issues
* Bring innovations and insight to the Operational stakeholder group, in support of the Engineering digitization agenda
* Adherence to the relevant Purchasing Policies and Processes in force, including following the correct delegation of authority and segregation of duties
About You
* Good technical procurement skills, ideally in MRO, Capex or wider Supply Chain environment
* Understanding of Food and Beverage manufacturing equipment and systems and supply base
* Experienced running sourcing events and managing supplier relationships
* Demonstrable cross-functional stakeholder management and influencing skills
* Good negotiation skills and willing to challenge the status-quo
* Strong analytical skills
* Familiarity with MRO consolidator contract implementations advantageous
* Work with Procurement Centre of Excellence, FSS, and Supply Operations to ensure smooth transaction of operations through SAP and other support systems
* Working knowledge of SAP Ariba and MS suite
* High level of competency in Excel, including familiarity with pivot tables
* A degree or equivalent qualification is desirable but not essential.
