As the Ecommerce Workflow Lead for General Merchandise team, you will be the key point of contact within Digital Design and Implementation for workload requests. You will lead capacity planning of workload and prioritisation of requirements for the Design & Implementation teams through the use of data to influence the spread of resource and workload. You will also support with planning and co-ordination for key strategic change projects related to new government legislation. What you need to do: You will work closely with the Design and Implementation leads and key stakeholders across the broader Ecommerce team to prioritise workload requests and manage projects You will help project manage work-streams and initiatives, providing a holistic view of workload requests from all digital teams; Customer Trade Planning, Trading, Content & Optimisation, Personalisation and SEO teams and providing necessary resource plans for Design and Implementation to ensure everything is delivered on time in full, and any blockers are understood You will be responsible for keeping the workflow management boards up to date with new requests, scheduling of activity and reprioritisation of tasks in our sprint process Reporting on the status of key BAU activity, or prioritised projects, you will provide timely communication between relevant Digital departments including Design, Implementation, Planning and Trading You will lead the transition of current workload planning in to new technology; managing the project end-to-end You will maintain and look for improvements in ways of working to improve efficiency through the team to allow timely delivery of our site activity. Advise on best practice to improve KPIs and turnaround times within the team You will provide the Ecommerce leadership team with appropriate recommendations for any new activity, including late reactive requests requiring rapid delivery You will look to provide accurate forecasts on upcoming capacity challenges, working closely with planning and trading teams on their upcoming planned activities Make good decisions and judgement calls whilst under pressure or ambiguity What you need to know and show: Experience of workflow management or project management within a fast-paced Digital business; strong planning and organisation skills are essential Confident co-ordinating ways of working across various disciplines within the Digital and Implementation teams and stakeholders such as Content & Optimisation, Digital Trading, and Customer Trade Planning tracking and reporting on all activities Ability to manage and influence multiple stakeholders outside of the direct team is essential. Comfortable balancing changing priorities and ambiguity to create best workflow plans that balance customer and commercial impacts Excellent communication skills essential to ensure business opportunities and risks are understood and acted upon Comfortable using data to measure process performance and team workload output; lead on understanding how capacity is utilised within the team and how this could be improved You have willingness & confidence to challenge established ways of working and drive change to these You’re an empathetic and clear communicator who can adjust style to suit multiple audience You encourage an insight driven culture across the teams to ensure a continuous improvement programme exists along with strong examples of ‘test and learn’ activities. You enjoy being an enabler and getting the best out of others What decisions I can make including budget: Working alongside the Design and Implementation team you will be responsible for the capacity planning for team workload. You will highlight areas where prioritisation is needed with your stakeholders.
