The ideal candidate will have a solid background working with Microsoft Dynamics 365, and be experienced in marketing automation implementation and customer journey orchestration using Microsoft Dynamics 365 Customer Insights - Journeys.
Responsibilities
As a Functional Consultant, your role is crucial in delivering our mission to revolutionise business processes and marketing outcomes. In this capacity, you will harness Microsoft Dynamics Customer Insights - Journeys to steer our customers through their digital and marketing transformation journey.
You will be responsible for the design, development and delivery of solutions using the Microsoft Customer Insights - Journeys application and across the Power Platform ensuring alignment with our customers’ objectives while maintaining effective communication channels with stakeholders.
This means actively collaborating with customers from a diverse range departments and levels to understand their strategic goals and operational requirements, coupled with an acute awareness of the potential business impact. Your role will bridge the gap between technical solutions and business strategy, requiring a robust understanding of both technical and functional capabilities of the Microsoft Dynamics modules including primarily Customer Insights - Journeys, but also working with Microsoft Dynamics Sales and Customer Service.
Essential Skills and Experience
In order to succeed in this role, you will need:
* Proven experience as a Dynamics Functional Consultant ideally working with Microsoft Customer Insights - Journeys
* At least 3 to 5+ years' experience in customer-facing delivery roles from within a Microsoft Partner organisation
* Extensive knowledge and experience in high-level stakeholder engagement, requirements gathering, solution design and Application Lifecycle Management (ALM) of Microsoft Dynamics applications and the Power Platform
* Ability to translate business requirements into tangible, realistic business solutions
* A good facilitator, able to manage multiple internal/external stakeholders
* Good understanding and hands-on experience with JavaScript, HTML and preferably CSS.
Desirable Skills and Experience
* Understanding of the broader Microsoft stack and how to leverage it to create powerful solutions including, but not limited to, Dynamics Sales, Customer Service, Dataverse, Power Pages and/or PowerApps (model-driven and canvas apps)
* Knowledge and hands-on experience with Microsoft Power Automate would also be advantageous
* Ability to analyse requirements against standard features across the application stack for Microsoft Dynamics 365.
Qualifications
* Degree in a numerate, business or computing subject, or an equivalent professional qualification
* One or more relevant and current technical qualifications (e.g. Microsoft Dynamics 365 Customer Insights - Journeys Functional Consultant Associate, Microsoft Power Platform Functional Consultant and/or Dynamics 365 Sales Functional Consultant Associate).

This role is UK-based and will require visits to customer sites in the UK and Ashton Court's HQ in Northampton. The position involves flexible working, with the opportunity to work from home. Although the majority of our staff work from or within a reasonable commute to our offices, we also have staff working remotely from wider locations. We welcome applications from candidates located throughout the UK, particularly based around the Midlands. However, ability and attitude are more important than location.

Interview Process
Ashton Court Group is an equal opportunities employer. Interviews are conducted in a two-stage process. Successful applicants will be invited to an initial 30 minute Teams meeting with a senior member of staff in the same discipline as the role for which you have applied. If successful, we will be inviting candidates to a second interview of up to one hour, including an assessment of your skills and experience and may include a technical test.
