Next is one of the UK’s best known high-street retailers and one of the most established online. Behind the scenes we are at the cutting edge of Warehousing and Logistics, employing more than 9000 people across our distribution centres. Our success is dependent on the expertise and passion of our teams across the UK. Life as a Team Manager at Next is full of challenges, it’s fast paced and just like fashion trends is constantly evolving. We look after over 2 million customers; it takes a large, talented and efficient distribution operation to make that happen. Let's take it on! Running a team of around 25 Warehouse Operatives, it’s your job to make sure that every item is perfectly selected, packed, distributed and has the devoted care and attention that our customers have come to expect from our brand over the years. Our largest distribution centre processes up to 600,000 units per day to our retail stores and to our customers' doors which is by no means straightforward. You will be used to working with different characters and understand what motivates individuals to be the best that they can be. You will drive your team to perform to the highest standards monitoring absence, productivity performance and errors. You will also be identifying ways to keep them on track and focused to achieve their bonus. About you Our Warehouses are large, fast paced 24 hour operations so there will often be a need for you to act independently and to think on your feet. Your expertise is valued and as a Team Manager, you will need to search out solutions, drawing upon your previous management experience to make sound operational decisions. If you’re passionate, love never knowing what the day will bring and feel exhilarated working under pressure and to tight deadlines then this could be the Next step for you. We recognise the key to our success is our people. Through our internal training programmes, we provide continuous development opportunities to help refresh your current management abilities and to realise your career ambitions. Our current population of Assistant Site Managers have been promoted through our management programmes and many of our Site Managers too! About Us You know Next, but did you know we’re a FTSE-100 retail company employing over 35,000 people across the UK and Ireland. We’re the UK’s 2nd largest fashion retailer and for Kidswear we’re the market leader. At the last count we have over 500 stores, plus the Next Online and it’s now possible to buy on-line from over 70 countries around the world! So we’ve gone global! About some of our Benefits
