My client is seeking a Developments Manager to join their team in the North Midlands area on a temporary basis. This position will focus on the construction and regeneration of new build housing developments. You will manage approved development schemes, from pre-start through to delivery and post-completion.

My client is a reputable not-for-profit organisation, headquartered in the Midlands. They aim to improve the lives of everyone living in their communities and are looking to expand their new build and regeneration housing developments team with a Housing Development Manager.
Description
1. Carry out development appraisals and necessary due diligence on all opportunities, producing cases and project plans to be considered by SMT and Board.
2. Fully manage approved development schemes, from pre-start through to delivery and post-completion.
3. Manage the successful coordination of all regeneration and development activities, liaising with other service areas, external partners, key stakeholders, and customers.
4. Manage the regeneration coordinator and the administration service to the wider regeneration team.
Profile
A successful candidate will:
1. Have experience of working in a Development & Regeneration environment, with experience in both a leadership role and managing other managers/team leaders.
2. Have experience in project management and contracts management, inclusive of the procurement process.
3. Have experience of managing high-value budgets effectively and developing delivery solutions that add value and/or reduce costs.
4. Have the ability to motivate, manage, and develop staff, setting and monitoring performance targets for themselves and their team.
