About the Role
As a Quality Technician, your efforts will be integral to ensuring that both products and processes meet the company's stringent quality standards. You'll provide thoughtful support, resolving issues, and upholding principles that reflect the organisation's commitment to excellence.
Key Responsibilities
Serve as the primary quality contact on the shopfloor, addressing issues with care and professionalism.
Conduct internal audits in alignment with the quality plan.
Perform meticulous quality checks on core manufacturing processes.
Lead initial root cause analyses, focusing on immediate containment measures.
Use APQP tools to guide colleagues through quality improvements.
Keep documentation current and ensure operators understand and follow standards.
Represent quality principles with quiet confidence, fostering trust in your role.
What You'll Bring
An HNC-level qualification in a relevant field.
1-2 years of experience in quality, manufacturing, or inspection roles (preferred).
Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing and APQP fundamentals.
A methodical, problem-solving mindset with proficiency in Microsoft Office.
A calm, proactive, and team-oriented approach to communication, particularly on the shopfloor.

Additional Information
This is a shift-based role with early (6:00 AM - 2:00 PM) and late (2:00 PM - 10:00 PM) shifts rotating Monday through Friday after an initial training period.
