Responsibilities
Assist in the planning and organization of council meetings and committees.
Prepare agendas, minutes, and reports for meetings as required.
Ensure compliance with legal and procedural requirements for meetings and decisions.
Provide support and guidance to elected members and officers on democratic processes.
Manage the publication and dissemination of information regarding council activities and proceedings.
Facilitate communication between the council, its members, and the community.
Maintain accurate records and documentation related to democratic processes and decision-making.
Support the implementation of initiatives that promote civic engagement and public participation.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in political science, public administration, or a related field.
Knowledge of local government operations and democratic processes.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
Ability to work collaboratively with diverse stakeholders.
Proficient in using digital tools and software for documentation and communication.
Demonstrated commitment to public service and civic participation.
Hours Per Week: 36.00
Start Time: 09:00
End Time: 17:00
Pay Per Day: £191.91
Location: Slough, Berkshire
