Description Oversee all company accounting practices, including accounting departments, preparing budgets, financial reports, tax and audit functions. Direct financial strategy, planning and forecasts; conferring with senior leadership team across the business and wider group Study, analyse and report on trends, opportunities for expansion and projection of future company growth. Monitor and confirm financial condition by conducting audits and providing information to external auditors. Comply with legal requirements by studying existing and new legislation, enforcing adherence to requirements, and advising management on needed actions. Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing professional publications, and participating in professional societies. Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed. Protect operations by keeping financial information and plans confidential. Manage small finance team, mentoring and developing more junior team members Profile A successful Financial Controller should have: Accountancy Qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) or equivalent Proficiency in accounting software, data analysis, and statistical methods. Excellent organisational, leadership, and communication skills. High level of commercial awareness and business acumen. Strong ethical standards and high levels of integrity.
