Sales Manager – Quantum Computing

We are looking for a high-calibre sales professional to spearhead commercial growth for a world-leading quantum computing start-up. Backed by significant investment and government grants, this company has already set world records in quantum performance.. Now, it’s time to scale.
As Sales Manager, you’ll be the company’s first dedicated sales hire, working directly with C-Level to build the commercial strategy, close high-value deals, and position quantum computing as a game-changer across industries.

What You’ll Do:
* Develop and execute go-to-market sales strategies for quantum computing solutions
* Identify and cultivate high-value partnerships with governments, financial institutions, and large-scale enterprises
* Sell the vision—educate the market on quantum’s potential while securing commercial deals
* Work closely with technical teams to translate complex concepts into compelling business cases
* Close deals—this is not just an ecosystem-building role; it’s about delivering revenue
What We’re Looking For:
We’re searching for a proven technical sales professional or business development expert with experience in deep tech markets such as quantum computing, robotics, AI or high-performance computing (HPC). The ideal candidate will have a strong track record of closing high-value contracts and scaling sales pipelines, particularly in startup or high-growth environments.
* 5-10 years of experience in technical sales or business development, ideally in HPC, robotics, AI, or advanced computing
* Ability to sell complex technology solutions to technical and non-technical stakeholders
* Strong academic and technical background in physics, engineering, computer science, or related fields
* Experience in a start-up or high-growth environment—you need to be adaptable and hands-on
* A strategic mindset but also a deal closer.
