The role:
* Monday to Friday, 9:00 am - 5:00 pm
* Site-based
* £Negotiable salary

You will play a key role in supporting the finance department and ensuring the timely and accurate production of financial reports and analysis. Your contributions will directly impact the company's performance and continuous improvement.
Key responsibilities include:
* Assisting with the preparation of monthly management accounts and annual statutory accounts
* Performing analytical reviews of profit and loss accounts and balance sheet reconciliations
* Preparing KPI & weekly management reports
* Ensuring compliance in VAT, Intrastat, and statutory payments
* Supporting production and cost analysis, including product costing and margin reviews
* Overseeing sales ledger, invoicing, and credit control
* Assisting in the preparation of financial forecasts and supporting other team members to ensure adherence to process and deadlines
* Identifying cost-reduction opportunities and championing continuous improvement across the team
What we're looking for:
* Previous experience in a similar accountancy role essential
* Strong accuracy and attention to detail
* Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
* Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
* Proficient in IT skills, including SQL and advanced Excel (pivot tables, formulae, and lookups)
