Job summary We are offering a 30 hour a week contract, that would offer you work on the edge of the beautiful Peak District National Park, yet within each reach of the cultural hub of Manchester? This is a role established to support the PCN Business Manager in carrying out day-to-day activities and to provide an element of cover or source of advice in the event of their absence. The post-holder will work closely with, and under the direction of, the PCN Business Manager to improve standards across a wide range of clinical and administrative activity. The position is suitable for someone who wishes to demonstrate initiative and to develop their own skills further with a view to progression. The success candidate will be confident with IT systems, an excellent organiser and communicator and have an eye for detail. They will be expected to have the ability to work both independently and as part of a team, managing their workload and working to deadlines. This is a fixed term contract initially with a view to extension. Main duties of the job Supporting the PCN Business Manager and Clinical Director in the day-to-day operations of the PCN and project work The post holder will also work closely with the Directors and management team of Glossop with regards to the management of PCN administrative and clinical staff to ensure Targets and Objectives are achieved. Work with the member practices to design and develop new services with agreed implementation plans containing performance management metrics. Lead on overseeing the delivery of the implementation plan for new services to ensure they are well planned, promoted and delivered on time. Develop close working relationships with Derbyshire Integrated Care Board.
