About the role: We are looking for an exceptional Bereavement Counsellor to provide high-quality clinical assessments and one-to-one bereavement support for people wishing to access the Hospice Bereavement Service. This key role will play a significant part in enabling us to deliver our commitment to holistic, person-centered care. About the role: Working in a supportive team, committed to delivering a professional service, you will have at least two years’ post-qualification experience as a counsellor, a strong understanding of bereavement and significant loss, good knowledge, skills, and experience in conducting client assessments (experience supervising volunteers would be an advantage, as would a qualification in supervision). Able to build culturally sensitive, empathic, non-judgmental working relationships with a range of clients and colleagues, you will have excellent interpersonal skills, a good telephone manner, IT competence and an ability to work in a systematic and organised way.
