Salary: £53,660 to £59,000 pa plus £1,300 essential Car Allowance*

The Property Services Department are recruiting a Pre-construction Project Manager within the major works pre-construction team. You will prepare and ensure our major works programme are turned into deliverable projects on site. Including design, technical specification, costed reviews of proposals and assessing deliverability of projects throughout all pre-construction stages.
Covering refurbishment, planned investment, complex projects, mechanical and electrical works and fire safety remediation. All projects developed into an efficient de-risked solution to which our partners/contractors can deliver.
You will report to the regional pre-construction manager and will work alongside other pre-construction project managers within the team. You will be supported by the pre-construction co-ordination manager when required.
To be able to undertake this role you must have:
· Excellent customer service skills
· Able to demonstrate financial and commercial acumen, including risk management skills, reporting and presenting to internal stakeholders.
· Demonstrate collaboration and influencing skills, with key stakeholders.
· Computer literate, with previous experience in managing asset management data, excellent MS office skills.
· Good working knowledge of standard measured term partnering forms of contract
· Good understanding of regulatory compliance for fire risk management
· Excellent understanding of all pre-construction activities for major works projects, specifications, tendering, design, planning, building regulations, CDM 2015 and leasehold consultation
· Knowledge in the field of Mechanical Services and engineering
· An understanding of the Building Safety Act
· Educated in a construction related course, minimum HNC/HND qualification or relevant experience.
