Apricus Resourcing are currently looking for an enthusiastic, dynamic and adaptable Substance Misuse Day & Night Therapeautic Recovery Support Worker for an Award-Winning Vulnerable People Support Third Sector Charity Service to be based in OX5 Yarnton/Kidlington / Shipton-on-Cherwell of Oxford, who is really passionate about providing a holistic service.
The successful Waking Night Worker will be an experienced, compassionate individual who will be able to offer patients a first-class recovery in an industry leading working environment. This role is working full time with standard hours 37.5 hours across any 4 nights of the week. Any mileage / travel expenses incurred whilst on shift will be compensated.
The Waking Night role involves assisting the team to organise and facilitate the evening running of the therapeutic community in a residential service. You will also play a hand in co-ordinating the service users tasks and activities, provide waking night cover, ensuring that risk is monitored and minimised. There is also a requirement organize and facilitate the residents in preparing for the daily programme and activities, whilst monitoring and administering medication to service users.

This role is working full time with standard hours 37.5 hours across any 5 days of the week choice of early, normal or late shift times. Any mileage / travel expenses incurred whilst on shift will be compensated.
The Day Therapeutic Worker will be empowering and passionate in supporting adults to make positive changes in their drug and alcohol lifestyle choices. You would be working within the team responsible for the implementation, development, and evaluation of the therapeutic programme, ensuring an effective and high-quality provision is delivered to everyone accessing the service. You would be managing a case load, ensuring end-to-end quality care co-ordination that meets the needs of both community members and stakeholders. You would ensure everyone is appropriately assessed and inducted into the TC programme according to their individualised needs, in line with the therapeutic community manual. Other duties will include facilitating a structured group programme delivering interventions and bringing innovation and passion to a well established and successful service.
In return for your commitment, we are able to offer a very competitive rate of pay of between £16.05 - £18.55 per hour dependent on experience, however it may be possible to negotiate above this for candidates with exceptional experience.
