About the role
We wouldn’t be able to positively impact the way the world shops without our passionate team members - who keep our business running, our operations optimised, and our customers happy. To support this, we now have an opportunity for a Seasonal Planning Lead to join the team.
As a Seasonal Planning Lead, you will be responsible for managing all elements of seasonal planning within the Planning and Analytics department, primarily focusing on Easter and Christmas. This includes overseeing the end-to-end seasonal planning process, managing the master project plan, and ensuring seamless coordination across various teams.
This role is critical in aligning seasonal capacity with demand, ensuring route and slot setup, resolving availability issues, and providing regular updates to senior leadership to maximize sales and ensure peak performance during seasonal periods.
As a Seasonal Planning Lead, you will:
* Develop and manage the department’s plan for seasonal events (Easter and Christmas), ensuring all critical milestones are met.
* Align with retailers on demand plans to ensure accurate forecasting and inventory management.
* Ensure timely route and slot setup, including successful slot release and daily monitoring of slot availability.
* Identify and resolve slot availability issues promptly to minimize customer disruptions.
* Collaborate with Supply Chain, Operations, Technology, Finance, and Retailers to ensure seamless seasonal plan execution.
* Define requirements for data and reporting related to seasonal events, ensuring accurate and timely insights for stakeholders.
* Provide daily and weekly updates on sales, actions, risks, and mitigation plans.
* Monitor and report on sales vs. capacity, slot availability, and overall seasonal performance.
* Address ad hoc seasonal queries and provide necessary information to stakeholders.
About you – Requirements to be considered
* Experience in planning, project management, or a related field.
* Proven experience working in a fast-paced environment.
* Advanced spreadsheet skills (Google Sheets) and strong data analysis capabilities.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Strong project management, problem-solving, and analytical abilities.
* Ability to work independently and under pressure.
* Flexible approach to working hours to support 24/7 business operations, including occasional weekend work.
Preferred but not essential:
* Proficiency in SQL and experience with BigQuery.
* Experience with data visualization tools like Tableau.
Interview Process
* Intro (30 mins) – Phone/Google Meet with Lead Recruiter, Richard Wandowski.
* Interviews – The process will consist of two stages, focusing on scenario-based, behavioral, and experience-related questions, along with an in-depth discussion about the role.
