As Ecommerce Design Manager, your role is to ensure the delivery of high quality creative work that drives performance across key areas of the business including content for the Teemill Platform, designs and content for top VIP stores, and content for own brands. You’re responsible for leading the design team in creating and maintaining high-quality, visually lead creative products and marketing that gets results across a range of platforms and channels (video, social, display, paid & organic channels, & some on-platform content). You’ll create interesting and inspiring campaigns that generate awareness of the Teemill brand and help the right audience find the Teemill platform as we look to expand globally. You’ll also create quality marketing content that help Teemill store owners reach their customers and grow their business, through quality print designs, store builds, marketing graphics and AI photography made available on the platform. In leading the design team, you’ll also ensure that good work cascades down to the Teemill platform, ensuring that we’re constantly iterating and improving it as we go. You’ll train and mentor the design team, helping them to improve their knowledge and understanding of best practices, supporting them in their growth.
* Responsible for delivering high quality creative work through effective management of the design team.
* Effectively managing the creative process and looking for ways to iterate and improve it.
* Working closely with our marketing team to create thumb-stopping, striking marketing content that promotes Teemill and grows established brands already on our platform.
* Ensuring that quality work is maximised by adding it on to the Teemill platform.
* Contributing to campaign ideas and marketing offers, making sure that they’re executed to the highest standard.
* Ensuring that individuals and teams consistently deliver high-quality content and that deadlines are met.
* Take ownership of key metrics such as store conversion rate, product bestsellers, & store success rate.
* To be on top of current trends and be enthusiastic to bring fresh ideas and concepts to the table.
* To ensure all brand standards are met by reviewing all content produced at an individual and team level.
* Mentoring the design team and helping them to develop their design and marketing skills.
Essential:
* University degree 2:1 or above in design/marketing related field.
* At least 5 years experience working as a designer or advertising creative.
* At least 2 years experience managing a design team.
* Adept in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign).
* Experience in producing video and animated content.
