We are seeking an individual who is highly motivated to join our OrthopaedicMusculoskeletal physiotherapy team as a Band 3 Therapy assistant.
The Physiotherapy and OccupationalTherapy Team are proactive in providing a holistic service, working within themulti-disciplinary team to ensure our patients receive high qualityintervention, achieve their rehabilitation goals and are safely discharged in atimely manner.
You will be joining us at an exciting time where we are reviewing the wayin which we deliver services and implementing digital solutions which willbenefit patient and staff experience.
This opportunity will allow the postholder to join our orthopaedic team ofphysiotherapists and occupational therapists and also provide learning relatedto other specialties.

Main duties of the job
You will be responsible for implementing therapy programmes andundertaking tasks delegated by thePhysiotherapist or Occupational Therapist to aid therehabilitation of patient.
You will carry your own caseload supervised or unsupervised and treatpatients according to set protocols monitoring patients progress and reportingback any changes to the appropriate Therapist.
You will be responsible for clinically relevant administrative duties inBHNFT to ensure smooth service delivery.
Youwill experience a comprehensive induction process and have access to learningopportunities and development, including the opportunity for apprenticeshiptraining to become a B4 assistant practitioner and/or a registeredpractitioner
Our servicevalues leadership at all levels and you will be encouraged to play an activepart in service development and improvement, with a view to shaping effectivepatient care pathways and best practice
The successfulapplicant will have excellent team working skills andpossess strong interpersonal and communication skills to work collaborativelywith colleagues and patients, as well as being able to work alone.
Flexibilityof working times and practice is essential which will include 7 day working,weekend working.
