Your Responsibilities:
* Plan and deliver engaging Geography lessons across Key Stages 3, 4, and 5, aligned with the curriculum.
* Develop dynamic lesson plans catering to diverse needs, using varied teaching methods and resources.
* Assess student progress regularly, providing constructive feedback.
* Foster understanding of physical geography, human geography, environmental issues, and global perspectives.
* Encourage critical thinking and analysis of geographical data and case studies.
* Incorporate current events and real-world applications into lessons.
* Support independent research through projects, fieldwork, and geographical tools.
* Collaborate with colleagues to enhance cross-curricular learning.
* Organize field trips, clubs, and activities to enrich learning experiences.
* Maintain accurate records of progress, behavior, and attendance, complying with school policies.
What we’re looking for:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
* Experience teaching Geography in secondary schools.
* Strong knowledge of the geography curriculum and assessment practices.
* Bachelor’s degree in Geography or a related discipline (desirable).
* Ability to inspire students and passion for Geography.
