Territory Manager Orthopaedics (Foot & Ankle) Overview: The Territory Manager (TM) will be responsible for driving sales growth of the Foot & Ankle product portfolio within a designated territory. This role emphasizes building strong relationships with key accounts, providing clinical and technical support during surgical procedures, and delivering comprehensive product education to healthcare professionals. The TM will also collaborate with internal teams to plan and execute strategies that enhance the adoption and success of Foot & Ankle products in the market. Key Responsibilities: Drive Sales Growth: Achieve and exceed sales targets by identifying and capitalizing on opportunities within the Foot & Ankle segment. Account Management: Develop and maintain strong relationships with surgeons, theatre teams, and hospital accounts to ensure consistent product use and satisfaction. Surgical Support: Attend surgical cases to provide hands-on product guidance, ensuring the successful application of Foot & Ankle products. Product Training: Train surgeons, surgical trainees, and theatre staff on the correct use of Foot & Ankle products to optimize patient outcomes. Educational Workshops: Plan and support cadaveric and sawbone workshops to enhance surgeon knowledge and familiarity with Foot & Ankle products. Clinical Expertise: Maintain an in-depth understanding of the Foot & Ankle portfolio to act as a trusted specialist for both customers and internal stakeholders. Market Development: Collaborate with the sales team to identify and develop strategies for expanding the adoption of Foot & Ankle products across the territory. Operational Excellence: Manage sales processes, including ordering, consignment stock, and workshop logistics, in line with company policies. Qualifications: Bachelors degree, preferably in a biomedical or health-related field, or equivalent experience. Proven experience in orthopaedics sales, ideally within the Foot & Ankle segment. Familiarity with the surgical environment, including theatre protocols and procedures. Strong communication and relationship-building skills to engage stakeholders at all levels. Ability to manage multiple priorities, balancing sales performance with customer education and support. Experience delivering training programs or workshops is a strong advantage.
