Control Centre Operator
Pay: £12.38 per hour
Shifts: Night Shifts 6am-6:00pm
Location: Rugby Town Hall - onsite only
Length: 3 months plus

Opus People Solutions are recruiting on behalf of Rugby Borough Council for an enthusiastic and customer service-focused Control Centre Operator to join their Sheltered Housing Team. The role involves providing a dedicated, sensitive, and responsive service to all customers who are connected or approach the Control Centre.
Main Duties:
1. Respond to calls connected to the Control Centre and take appropriate action to resolve them in line with policy and procedure.
2. Actions may include calling an ambulance, booking an emergency visit, or activating the Emergency Plan.
3. Maintain and keep up-to-date accurate records of all residents, calls, incidents, and equipment connected with the Control Centre.
The successful candidate will possess excellent customer service skills, a calm and confident manner, clear and fluent English, be an excellent listener, and have competent IT skills. Experience of working with vulnerable adults or a call centre background would be advantageous.
