Main duties of the job
As a Care Assistant at Avery Healthcare, your focus will be to deliver high standards of personal care, contributing fully to the care team to ensure continuity of services to residents. This will involve assisting residents with their personal hygiene, recognizing and understanding clinical risk areas, and acting courteously towards residents and their visitors while respecting their dignity and individuality. You will be expected to practice safe systems of work across a range of tasks and demonstrate initiative, flexibility, and the ability to communicate effectively.

Other responsibilities will include:
* Assisting residents in all their personal hygiene care ensuring optimum independence, dignity, and respect of individuals at all times.
* Recognising and understanding clinical risk areas in residents such as weight loss, pressure sores, risk of falls, signs of infections and escalate any identified risks in a timely manner.
* Acting courteously towards residents and their visitors, respecting the dignity and individuality of each resident.
* Practicing safe systems of work across a range of tasks.

Qualifications
* Experience is not required, as Avery Healthcare offers a thorough induction and training program to ensure confidence within the role.
