Woodview School is recruiting for a Housekeeper to join our support team! We are looking for passionate people to make sure our sites are safe and comfortable, whilst covering all aspects of housekeeping. You will be responsible for maintaining high standards of cleanliness in the school and will have a flexible approach and be able to respond quickly to requests for assistance.

Set in its own private grounds, Aspris Woodview School will provide holistic support to children and young people aged 7 to 19 years with autism. You will have a unique opportunity to be part of establishing the school and to support our young people once the school opens.
The curriculum design will enable students to follow a broadly mainstream curriculum to accredited qualifications, preparing them for adulthood and the world of work. The school will aim to provide 10 places on opening in September 2024, rising to 96 places at full maturity.

The successful candidate will have experience of daily cleaning schedules and ensure appropriate paperwork is completed and a good knowledge of health and safety legislation applicable to the role, along with the following characteristics:
1. Communication – During your role, your working environment may involve interacting with our young people we support that may display varying degrees of emotional behavioural difficulties, autism, ADHD, and associated difficulties.
2. Organisation – As well as supervising the staff team, you’ll need to be confident and organised in record keeping, ensuring issues are logged on the internal computer systems and keeping up to date with routine maintenance checks.
3. Attentive – No two jobs will be the same, so being attentive to understand them and identify areas where we can support is important.
