We're looking for a Systems & Data Manager to join our Anglian Water team based in the East Anglia region.
Location: Can be based within the East Anglia region - Norfolk/ Lincolnshire/ Northamptonshire - mixture of office and visiting various sites within the region, and home working.
Hours: 45 hours per week – some flexibility on hours available if desired, just let us know when you speak to us.
In this role, you will be working on the Integrated Maintenance, Repair and Development Services (IMRDS) alliance. The team maintains the water supply systems, repairs emergencies like water bursts, and develops new ways to better service customers.
What will you be responsible for?
As a Systems & Data Manager, you'll be working within the Capital main laying team, who are committed to delivering high-quality, efficient solutions for critical infrastructure projects.
In this role, you will lead investigations into asset risks, develop comprehensive solutions, and provide a clear path forward for project delivery. You will engage with various stakeholders to ensure cost-effective, robust solutions and drive continuous improvement in our delivery processes.
Your day to day will include:
* Lead investigations into asset risks, including conducting site inspections, data gathering, and evaluating findings to identify business needs & risks.
* Develop and promote detailed Totex solutions, preparing cost estimates and conducting risk & benefit analyses to address operational problems.
* Manage stakeholder relationships, ensuring seamless transitions between investigation, solution development, and project delivery stages.
* Lead the ROV process to evaluate and validate investment strategies, driving collaborations and challenge among stakeholders.
* Ensure alignment with business objectives and maintain visibility across the full investment lifecycle.
What are we looking for?
This role of Systems & Data Manager is great for you if you hold:
* Degree or equivalent qualification in a relevant field (e.g. engineering, asset management).
* IAM qualification or equivalent.
* Experience in cost estimating and using costing tools (e.g. C55, PowerBI).
* Proven ability to develop and evaluate risk/ benefit strategies and resolve business issues.
* Full driving licence.
