The position we are seeking to fill is for a Solid Dose Manufacturing Technician.
You will be responsible for executing manufacturing activities in support of product development projects. You will support new products and existing product development within the Research & Development department by working to manufacture products within a safe GMP environment.

Requirements:
* Degree in chemical processing, pharmaceutical science or related discipline.
* Experience working within a GMP facility would be highly desirable.
* Experience working in a high-paced environment.
* Evidence of ability to effectively contribute to multi-disciplinary scientific teams and environment.
Key roles and responsibilities:
* Set up, run and operate Oral solid dose Pilot Plant equipment and support problem-solving activities to resolve equipment/product quality issues that arise.
* Execute batch sheet instructions and record their completion to GMP standards.
* Support the scale-up, production and technical transfer of pharmaceutical products.
* Support management of plant and process areas.
* Support installation, validation, maintenance and cleaning of equipment as required.
* Ensure that documentation of processes and operations is in place and completed such that a detailed understanding of the manufacturing process is recorded and enables further improvements, where required or possible.
* Work closely with stakeholders (Quality, Analytical and Facilities) and in particular colleagues in Formulation Development department, to plan campaign tasks, edit and review supporting documentation and ensure a seamless transition into the GMP manufacturing facility.
* Input, propose and modify as appropriate, SOPs, risk assessments and training curricula.
