We are a team of hard-working professionals ranging from Nursery Trainees to Degree Level practitioners and we are looking for likeminded individuals who are passionate about providing a stimulating, friendly and caring environment for the children in our care.
As level 2 Nursery Assistant you will support a Nursery Nurse with a group of children whom you will provide daily care and activities as well asassistingin the completion of developmental reviews. We offer care and education for children, from 6 months old, up until they start school in Reception. You will be expected tomaintainthe standards of care and learning opportunities for the children in a safe and stimulation environment, supporting the Early Years Foundation Stage.
Being owned by the NHS, our nurseries come highly recommended by families and the standard of caredemonstratedfor all children links to the expectations that the NHS portray worldwide.
We offer full day care for 51 weeks per year, from 7.30am to 6.00pm, Monday to Friday in which you will work on a rota basis for 37.5 hours per week.
• To provide the best possible care and stimulation for the children of the nursery meeting their physical, intellectual,emotionaland social needs in a non-discriminatory manner.
• To work in partnership with parents and encourage their involvement in the aims of the nursery and in all aspects of their child’s care.
• To provide andmaintainrecords as necessary andappropriate, in line with the EYFS Statutory Framework.
• to attend training courses, to ensure that modern, innovated andforward lookingpractices aremaintainedand to allow for personal career development.
• Toassistin the daily domestic management of the nursery; ensuring that the nursery is kept safe,secureand cleanat all times.
