Job summary Job Opportunity: Outpatient Administration & Reception Support Join our dedicated Outpatients team at Sheffield Children's We are looking for someone to book appointments, manage patient schedules, and provide exceptional service to our patients, families, and colleagues. You'll have great organisational skills and the ability to handle a busy workload. An understanding of confidentiality and data protection policies is essential. We'd love to hear from you Main duties of the job Reporting into the Call Centre Manager, your responsibilities will include: Book and manage appointments according to Trust standards. Engage with patients, visitors, and staff, demonstrating empathy and professionalism Perform administrative tasks, including filing referrals, sorting post, and scanning documents. Handle phone calls, emails, and book services such as interpreters and transport. Greet visitors and provide necessary information at the reception desk. Provide support for other roles during absence and suggest improvements for service delivery.
