School Premises Support Officer
Scale Pay Point 7 (Range 7-10)
Actual Annual Salary: £17,286 - £20,744 per annum
Pattern of hours will be minimum 25 hours – maximum 30 hours each week, ideally worked over 3 days each week but with flexibility if needed.
Week A Core Days: Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays
Week B Core Days: Mondays, Thursdays and Fridays
All Year Round
Additional hours may be available to cover other team absences

We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic, conscientious and adaptable Premises Support Officer. You will be joining our dedicated site team who maintain and manage our large and varied buildings and grounds. This is an opportunity to contribute your experience to the team and develop further skills. Training will be given in any areas required.

We are the founding school of Moorlands Learning Trust and a member of the Red Kite Teaching School Alliance with a firm commitment to school to school support and developing highly effective collaborative practices.
Duties will include:
* Lock and unlock Academy buildings and carry out security checks
* To provide a friendly welcome to visitors and hirers of the school, assisting with any issues arising
* Carry out routine maintenance to keep the site safe, clean and accessible
* Act as a Fire Warden, with training, as part of the Site Team.
* Undertake appropriate repairs and minor improvement work
* Perform health and safety checks in liaison with other members of the site team
* Act as a nominated First Aider (training will be provided if qualification not already held)
