Job Title: English and Maths KS3 Intervention Tutor Location: England, Greater London, Havering Job Type: Temporary, Part-Time Primary Industry: Education and Training Salary: £20 - £30 Per hour Job Duties: Provide targeted English and Maths intervention sessions for Key Stage 3 students Create individualised learning plans to address students' specific needs Deliver engaging and interactive lessons to support students' progress Assess student understanding and progress through regular evaluations Collaborate with school staff and parents to ensure a holistic approach to student development Required Qualifications: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) Experience in delivering English and Maths interventions Strong knowledge of the Key Stage 3 curriculum Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Education: Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Education or related field Experience: At least 2 years of experience in teaching English and Maths at Key Stage 3 level Knowledge and Skills: Demonstrated understanding of effective teaching strategies Ability to differentiate instruction to meet the diverse needs of students Strong organisational skills and attention to detail Proficient in using technology to enhance learning Working Conditions: The role involves working part-time hours on a temporary basis. The tutor will be based in a school or learners home setting in Havering, Greater London. The work will primarily take place during school hours, with flexibility required to accommodate student schedules.
