The role As an Aircraft Handler, you’ll have a role that’s out of the ordinary. The Visiting Aircraft Support Section (VASS) supports our commitment to carrying out the ground handling and providing services to visiting aircraft as required. Enabling small/ medium business aircraft meet their allotted tasks, in accordance with RAF and Company safety standards, practices and procedures. Day-to-day, you’ll have the following responsibilities: Handling and providing services to visiting aircraft as required. Marshalling of Aircraft, understanding of health and safety with moving of the aircraft. Arranging any services required with the role remit, inc aircraft services. Working with civilian and military Airforce are the stakeholders. Moving equipment and generators, physically demanding at times. This role is full time and based onsite at RAF Northolt. Essential experience of the Aircraft Handler: Someone who has evidenced through previous roles performance driven activity Stakeholder engagement Qualifications for the Aircraft Handler: Full Clean UK driving licence, Normal colour perception graded as CP2. Security Clearance The successful candidate must be able to achieve and maintain BPSS security clearance for this role.
