This is a post for a Registered Nurse to workon The Headland Unit – a busyMonday to Fridayoutpatient treatment area delivering Systemic Anti-Cancer Therapies (SACT) including chemotherapy and immunotherapy.We are looking for dynamic andmotivatedindividualswhoenjoy clinical skills andself-development.
We welcome expressions of interest from registered nurses with a minimum of 12 months experience. Experienced within this speciality is desired but not essential as we are able to provide a thorough training programme.
To support ournurses,we have in houseClinicalPracticeEducators who work closely with new starters and guide our nurses to increase their clinical skills.
The post-holder would be basedonthe HeadlandUnit, which supports our outpatient clinics in the Sunrise Centre and Haematology OPD.There is an expectation that nurses will be willing to support our sister inpatient ward, Lowen ifrequired.
On-going education and developmentisactively encouraged and there is access to degree level modules, as well as opportunities to attend local,nationaland international conferences. These posts willprovide an opportunity for the successful candidateto significantly develop their clinical skills and knowledge base.
