What Youll Do:
As an Indirect Supply Manager, you'll be at the forefront of our innovation, driving a larger variety of vendors and projects within procurement. Youll collaborate with a diverse group of passionate individuals to deliver sustainable solutions to advance mobility, improve wellbeing and enhance modern life. Your work will directly impact the improvement of our sourcing capacity within Benelux and Germany, mainly.
What Were Looking For:
:
Identify and qualify supplierswhile monitoring and improving supplier performance and value.
:
Identify candidates for Alliance Partners for specific commodity or service areas.
:
Monitor sourcing and commodity trends and markets.
:
Negotiate supply agreements to improve quality, delivery, pricing, lead:times and service.
:
Identify and implement innovative solutions to mitigate issues and streamline processesto evaluate and implement savings due to increased efficiency
:
Ensure contracts are being followedand implement global contracts or other agreements to fully leverage Lubrizols spend.
:
Develop and use internal/external RFI (Request for Information) to understand Lubrizol needs and markets.
:
Use RFQ (request for quote)/ RFP (request for proposals) to identify best supply source.
:
Ensure POs are clear and accurately reflect internal customer needs.
:
Ensure master data is accurate to allow efficient order processing and payment.
:
Manage the procure through payment process for maximum efficiency.
:
Identify and implement opportunities for cost savings (reductions, rebates, payment terms)
:
Build strong internal customer relationshipsand external stakeholders management communication.
:
Train and educate about purchasing processes among different levels of stakeholders involved.
:
Active involvement in external professional groups.
:
Has authority as defined in the New Schedule of Executive Approvals Policy (SEA)
:
Define and coordinate the strategy for the assigned category in partnership with a cross:functional teams focused on obtaining best TCO and driving optimization through productivity and complexity reduction.
Skills That Make a Difference:
:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent in supply chain, business administration, logistics, finance, accounting, economics, engineering, or other technical degree.
:
At least 5 years' experience in procurement or procurement related functions.
:
Fluent in English, Dutch and German with strong written and verbal communication skills, French and/or Spanish is considered as a plus.
