Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Support Worker to join our team. In this role, you will provide essential support to individuals, particularly children, helping them to achieve their personal goals and enhance their quality of life. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, a background in childcare, and the ability to work collaboratively with care plans.
Duties
1. Assist individuals in daily living activities, ensuring their comfort and safety.
2. Implement and monitor care plans tailored to individual needs.
3. Provide emotional support and encouragement to promote independence.
4. Communicate effectively with clients, families, and other professionals involved in care.
5. Drive clients to appointments or activities as required.
6. Maintain accurate records of support provided and progress made.
7. Utilise IT systems for documentation and communication purposes.
Qualifications
1. Experience working with children or in a childcare setting is highly desirable.
2. Strong understanding of care plans and the ability to implement them effectively.
3. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
4. A valid driving licence is preferred for transporting clients when necessary.
5. Proficient in IT skills for record keeping and reporting purposes.
6. A compassionate nature with a commitment to supporting others.
