Salary: £33,366 P.A (pro rata)
Working Hours: Full-time
Work Arrangement: Hybrid working. You will be required to attend the office during training and subsequently 1-2 days per week or as the business requires.

About the Role
We are seeking a motivated and experienced Tenancy Services Officer to join our dedicated Tenancy and Support Services Team for a temporary 3-month contract. This role focuses on delivering an excellent, customer-focused housing management service to residents, ensuring compliance with tenancy agreements and providing support to tenants in areas such as income management, anti-social behavior, and tenancy sustainment.
Key Responsibilities
You will be responsible for managing approximately 750 properties and ensuring high-quality service delivery, including:
* Tenancy Management: Enforcing tenancy agreements, addressing tenancy breaches, and processing tenancy changes.
* Income Management: Monitoring rent arrears, providing welfare benefits advice, and liaising with relevant agencies.
* Anti-Social Behavior: Investigating and resolving low-risk ASB cases and breaches of tenancy agreements.
* Property Management: Conducting inspections, reporting communal repairs, and addressing health and safety concerns.
* Customer Engagement: Promoting tenant initiatives, supporting mutual exchanges, and assisting with transfer requests.
* Legal and Administrative Duties: Preparing legal documents, maintaining tenancy records, and ensuring policy compliance.
* Collaboration: Working closely with income management, property, and support services teams to ensure a seamless customer experience.
What We’re Looking For
We’re seeking someone with the skills, experience, and attitude to excel in this role.
Essential Criteria:
* Minimum of 2 years’ experience in income or tenancy management.
* Working knowledge of housing law and welfare benefits.
* GCSEs (or equivalent) including English and Maths.
* Proficiency in using IT systems such as Word, Excel, and Outlook.
* Full UK driving licence and daily access to a car with business user insurance.
* Ability to climb stairs (up to 15 floors) and use lifts.
Desirable Criteria:
* A-levels or relevant housing qualifications (e.g., CIOH).
* Experience presenting and defending cases in court.
* Knowledge of housing maintenance and mediation/negotiation skills.
