Job Title: Operations Manager
Salary: £53k + Good Bonus & Car/Car Allowance
Location: Hybrid
Suitable home locations could include: Leeds, Sheffield, Manchester, Bolton, Scunthorpe, Burnley, Derby, Nottingham, Stoke or surrounding areas.
An Operations Manager is now required to join a leading timber product company due to an internal promotion. They are looking for a new Operations Manager to manage 4 factories/plants from an operational point of view with a client focus.
This is a home-based role with visits every 2 months to each plant: 2 in Scotland, 1 in the North East, and 1 in the South East, so good diary planning is required.
Responsibilities:
1. Work as part of the senior management team to set goals to ensure company growth is met.
2. Identify new opportunities at existing plants or new plants.
3. Promote & champion a continuous improvement culture.
4. Prepare budgets & schedules.
5. Enforce safety within the workplace & ensure H&S manuals are kept up to date.
We would welcome conversations with Operations Managers who:
1. Have a background in Multi-Site Management.
2. Are strong communicators across all levels and enjoy interfacing with customers.
3. Possess knowledge of different legislations - HSE, ISO, COSHH.
4. Have experience in Factory / Plant Management and Leadership.
5. Are willing to travel to different plants as required.
