About you
10. Ideally completed electrical apprenticeship with Level 3 qualification in engineering
11. At least three years post-apprenticeship experience with a multi-skilled bias.
12. Proficient in PLCs, Pneumatics, control systems, and basic building maintenance.
13. Ability to work shifts
What you'll do
14. Safety Compliance: Maintain strict adherence to safe working practices, including the use of PPE, and ensure compliance with Health & Safety procedures, work instructions, and related documentation.
15. Health & Safety Advocacy: Actively contribute to promoting a safe work environment by following all Health & Safety policies and encouraging safe behaviors and systems of work.
16. Machine Maintenance: Handle repairs and breakdowns of material converting machines, addressing both electrical and mechanical issues while maintaining a safe working environment.
17. Preventative Maintenance: Conduct regular preventative maintenance tasks in line with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and scheduled work plans.
18. Inventory Management: Manage stores inventory effectively, utilising systems to maintain optimal stock levels.
19. Continuous Improvement: Lead and contribute to continuous improvement projects that align with company goals and objectives, particularly in relation to CTO (Cost to Order).
20. Project Leadership & Training: Take initiative in leading projects, training other team members, and being part of a world-class team of technicians.
21. Skill Development: Embrace opportunities to learn new processes and complete necessary training to grow within the organisation.
22. Additional Duties: Perform other assigned tasks, including participation in special projects as identified.
