We are looking for two passionate individuals to step into an exciting role where you'll oversee and coordinate our team of Learning Support Practitioners within the Foundation Learning department. You’ll take charge of essential operational tasks such as conducting one-on-ones, managing return-to-work processes, and guiding the team through appraisals and other supervisory functions. Your role will be at the heart of coordinating daily timetabling, ensuring every student receives the support they need, and covering staff absences. Working closely with the Curriculum Area Manager and SEND team, you’ll help deliver exceptional, tailored support to learners with additional needs. Additionally, you will still provide hands-on support to learners, making a direct impact on their success. What we're looking for:
1. Previous experience of working in an educational setting.
2. Level 2 English or Maths [or equivalent] or willingness to achieve.
3. Level 3 award in Supporting Individuals with Learning Disabilities or willingness to work towards.
4. A great communicator who can engage with the students.
5. Compassionate and respectful of the learner’s needs.
6. A passion for supporting young people to overcome barriers to learning.
7. Experience in leading a team and fostering a supportive work environment.
