THE ROLE
We are looking for an HR Business Partner to join our friendly and hard-working HR team. Working across our two sites in Bromsgrove and Worcester and reporting to the HR Manager, you will provide HR support and guidance to specific business units, ensuring alignment with the organisation's HR strategy and adherence to UK employment law. Responsibilities include:
1. Participating in, and supporting managers with, full case management on ER cases, e.g. underperformance, dismissals.
2. Advising and aiding managers with all aspects of the company absence policy and supporting employees back to work.
3. Supporting our outsourced monthly payroll.
4. Delivering training to line managers to ensure they understand and comply with HR policies and procedures.
THE CANDIDATE
You will be qualified to CIPD Level 5 or above with demonstrable years of experience in an HR Business Partner role. You should have a strong understanding of HR best practices and UK employment law. Key qualifications include:
1. Acting as a point of contact for employees and managers within assigned business units.
2. Being proactive and efficient, comfortable working to deadlines and prioritising workload effectively.
3. Having the ability to build relationships and collaborate with stakeholders.
4. Coordinating training and development programs and overseeing the monthly payroll process, including data entry, verification, and ensuring accurate and timely payment of salaries and deductions.
