Due to the continued success and expansion of our business, an exciting opportunity has arisen for a Branch Manager to join our team at Worthing.
The Role
We have a fantastic opportunity for a new Branch Manager to manage and motivate the sales team and be accountable for the day-to-day operations of running our Lewes branch.
The ideal candidate would need to have previous management experience and be able to manage the Bridgewater Branch. Naturally, you would also need to have a good awareness and understanding of the local market place and its competitors.
The Responsibilities
* Maximise branch contribution through profitable sales and the control of branch overhead expenses in line with company policy.
* Motivate and manage staff to ensure the branch can meet and exceed customers' expectations in terms of the efficiency and standard of service provided.
* Develop and maintain a branch business plan with the aim of maximising sales and margin.
* Ensure active compliance with Legislation/Company/Health and Safety Procedures & Policies.
* Work effectively as part of a team promoting the company’s vision, values and aspirations at all times.
* Develop and maintain the branch business plan to actively increase sales opportunities for existing, new and lapsed customers in order to maximise sales and margin.
* Build and maintain effective working relationships with customers to ensure ongoing profitability.
* Maintain awareness of competitor activity and promotions.
* Ensure staff understand and achieve identified sales and margin targets.
* Proactively manage customer price files to provide maximised service levels to customers and minimised loss of profit to the business.
* Strive at all times to maintain and develop productive and effective relationships with suppliers and customers.
* Develop effective relationships with staff to create a teamwork environment.
* Communicate all relevant key information across the business as appropriate.
* Communicate ideas for enhancing sales, margin or business efficiencies.
* Ensure that all staff are treated with dignity and respect at all times.
The Requirements
* Branch Management experience
* Full UK driving licence
* Experience in a similar role
The Hours
Week 1: Monday to Friday 07:00 - 17:00
Week 2: Monday to Friday 07:00 - 17:00, Saturday 08:00 - 12:00
