Job description
As a Care Assistant, you will be supporting individuals to make choices and live as independently as possible and to demonstrate the values of the Care and Support Department.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
* Delivering care plans.
* Providing person centred care and support as identified in the care plan, whilst promoting choice and enabling customers to maintain independence and dignity.
* Prioritising tasks as appropriate.
* Identifying and ensuring health and safety standards are met.
* Identifying and reporting signs of poor practise or abuse.
* Escalating concerns / issues as appropriate.
* Undertaking key worker duties, building relationships with customers, families and professionals.
* Complying with CQC essential standards and Anchor procedures at all times.
Requirements:
* Experience of working as a Care Assistant.
* Care level 2 diploma.
* Comfortable in assisting individuals with their personal care.
