An amazing new job opportunity has arisen for a committed CAMHS Nurse – Specialist Eating Disorders Service to work in an exceptional private mental health hospital in the Manchester area. You will be working for one of the UK’s leading health care providers.
This hospital is a leading provider of specialist treatment in mental health, with residential facilities for patients as well as day care and outpatient services.
To be considered for this position you must be qualified as an RMN Nurse with a current active NMC Pin.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Provide highly specialist advice, guidance, training, therapeutic support and consultation as part of an MDT based within a CAMHS Service.
2. Direct provision to service users using governed psychological intervention, proactive physical health care intervention and monitoring.
3. Contributing to formulation of a service user's needs and creating evidence-based plans.
4. Consultation and leadership to team colleagues and external health and care professionals working with people with eating disorders, and contributing to service development, evaluation and quality improvement initiatives for the support and services for children and young people with disordered eating.
Preferred Skills and Experience:
1. Evidence of post registration continuing professional development.
2. A positive attitude and commitment to change, improvement and quality.
3. Excellent verbal, interpersonal and written communication skills.
4. Knowledge of NMC standards guidelines and professional practices.
5. Knowledge of the Mental Health Act and Code of Practice.
Salary and Benefits:
