A warm and welcoming SEN school is currently seeking a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join their complex needs team on a full-time basis for the remainder of the academic year.
The school has the expertise and resources to support pupils aged 11-18 with severe learning difficulties and complex needs, including conditions such as Autism, ADHD, and social, emotional, and communication challenges. As a member of the complex needs team, you will be part of a highly skilled and nurturing team focused on providing the best support for pupils, encouraging them to reach their full potential.

- Full-Time/Part-Time: Full-Time
- Minimum Rate of Pay: £100 per day
- Hours: 9:30 am - 3:30 pm
Experience, Training, and Qualifications
- Experience working with young people or young adults with SEN (either personal or professional)
- Strong understanding of the SEN curriculum
- Proven track record of receiving good or outstanding feedback from lesson observations or performance management
- Articulate, creative, and dedicated to supporting children with SEN
- Passionate, positive, and a strong team player
- Confident with classroom management skills
- Enthusiastic and committed to supporting children with SEN
Eligibility Requirements
- Hold the right to work in the UK
- Have an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service, or be willing to apply for a new one
- Provide two professional child-related references from the last two years
