Mosaic Multicultural Connections Board Directors (Voluntary) - Remote
Join our board of directors and make a difference!
Are you passionate about diversity, equity and inclusion for people of refugee and migrant background? Mosaic Multicultural Connections (Mosaic) is seeking dedicated and community-minded professionals to join our board of directors. We have three (3) casual director vacancies for individuals eager to contribute their expertise and make a lasting impact.
About us
A registered not-for-profit and charity, Mosaic has assisted culturally diverse people and communities to overcome barriers and thrive for over 40 years across Newcastle, Hunter, Central Coast and New England-North West regions of NSW. Our culturally diverse workforce speaks over 40 languages and delivers programs in settlement, families, communities, youth and aged care.
Mosaic has expanded our workforce and programs significantly in recent years. We are on a journey to continuously improve the relevance and impact of our suite of programs within a robust governance framework. We are preparing our aged care services for a quality transition to introduce the ‘once in a generation’ government reform to improve the care experience of older Australians. We champion safety and wellbeing for our workforce and our clients. We augment our programs through volunteers and extend our reach through extensive sector collaboration.
United in their passion for Mosaic’s vision, our board of directors have diverse senior expertise and operate with strong ethics, curiosity and an appetite for strategic thinking.
About you
This is your opportunity to bring your board and governance experience, along with specific expertise, to a community-centric organisation delivering impactful programs.

We deeply value lived experience and cultural and linguistic diversity amongst our board directors to reflect the people and communities we work with.
