We are presently seeking multiple graduates to assist the school during exam season, which is a particularly demanding time for cover. However, the school is also potentially open to appointing a full-time cover supervisor to assist with their ongoing requirements and for continuity. A fixed-term contract may be offered to the right individual.
The preferred applicant is enthusiastic and committed to education and having a positive impact; they will also be willing to get involved and be comfortable covering a range of subjects across the school when needed. Previous experience is not mandatory as the school can provide shadowing opportunities, full inductions, and access to various courses via Teaching Personnel.
Salary: £90-£100 per day, based on experience

Job Description:
As a Cover Supervisor, you will be instrumental in the day-to-day functioning of the school by overseeing classes in the absence of regular teachers. You will make sure students stay focused on their assigned work, manage classroom conduct, and offer assistance as needed.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Oversee and assist pupils in the absence of their usual teacher.
2. Make sure students stay engaged with their tasks and complete work to the best of their ability.
3. Regulate behaviour in class and handle issues according to school guidelines.
4. Feedback to teachers regarding student engagement and any concerns during the lessons.
5. Adhere to school rules and procedures relating to safeguarding and health & safety.
6. Help students with additional needs where relevant, to support an inclusive learning setting.
