About the role:
The Lecturer is responsible to the Curriculum Manager for providing high-quality teaching, learning and assessment, pastoral and academic support, and programme leadership.
Key Responsibilities:
* To teach on a range of programmes, providing high-quality learning opportunities that meet the needs of individual students/apprentices and groups.
* To provide flexible assessment opportunities and closely monitor, track and record student/apprentice retention, achievement, and success.
* To contribute to the development and delivery of high-quality, relevant curriculum and programmes, including:
o Actively contributing to the development of new programmes within the curriculum area
o Producing annual schemes of work and/or training plans for all subjects/programmes to be taught
To be successful in this role, below is what we would need from you:
* Level 3 qualification in a relevant area
* Level 5 teaching qualification or willing to work towards
* Ability to meet targets within set timescales
* Ability to work well in teams but also independently
